The alleged rationale for this law is that abortion is so very very dangerous to women. But that is a lie. The CDC says legal abortion results in 0.64 deaths per 100K abortions (http://t.co/l0gDwr8oSS) while pregnancy-related deaths are 15.5 per 100K births (http://t.co/hAf21LEJrs). Abortion is VERY safe. This proposal is nothing but big-government conservativism. It does a disservice to women, and is an embarrassment to our state.
