TRAP regulations place medically unnecessary burdens on women's health centers and pose a serious threat to the safety, security, and confidentiality of the patients and the medical staff who care for them. If centers are unable to meet these requirements and are forced to close, women throughout the state will have to travel much greater distances at much greater expense to get access to the care they need.  This puts a particular burden on those with limited financial resources.  We should be looking for ways to expand women's access to safe, medically appropriate care, not erecting hurdles to make it even more difficult for women to make the decisions they believe to be best for themselves and their families.
