If we are serious about safety and health for all people, regulating abortion clinics is a no-brainer.  Why shouldn't those who perform abortions, a dangerous procedure, be held to the same standards that other doctors and medical staff are held to?  There are medical regulations that oversee tattoos and ear piercings, and we can't regulate abortion facilities? How is this logical in any way?

While an abortion is always deadly to the baby, the mother shouldn't similarly endangered as well.
