We fought for these rights long ago -- separation of Church and State, equal rights for women, reproductive rights for women, including the right, if chosen, to obtain legal and safe abortions.  Virginia citizens do not want to go back to the dark ages and Virginia women do not suddenly want to be controlled by the religious right.  We hate to see Virginia's narrow-minded politicians and legislative proposals as fodder for late night comedians.   Family planning is a private concern.   Please--keep your restrictive legislators and laws off our bodies, out of our reproductive tracts, and out of our examining rooms!
