New TRAP regulations need to be amended to allow greater access to clinics and to remove the excessive "hospital" rules because

* The Board of Health rules should be based on medicine and science, not politics.

* Women's health centers have an impressive safety record which includes abortion.

* TRAP regulations create financial and access burdens that threaten the delivery of health care to the very people who need it.

* These extensive regulations will cause a severe reduction in services to women throughout Virginia, primarily in rural areas.
