TRAP laws in Virginia

I am writing about the TRAP laws which are currently under proposal in Virginia.  I am NOT in favor of them, and I ask that they not be put into effect.  They would limit medical care for women and would make quite unfeasible the ability for abortion clinics to stay open.  (I realize that is, in fact, their intended effect.)  If women are not able to get safe, legal abortions, they will have to resort, once again, to getting illegal, frequently unsafe abortions.  that will potentially endanger their lives.  If the desire of legislators is to make medical procedures safer for women, then TRAP laws are not the way to go.  They would, in effect, take what is already one of the safest medical procedures and cause more women to turn to one of the unsafest procedures to get the same result - to have choice over their own bodies.

I recognize that politcians have agendas - we all do - I just ask that you consider the unintended probable effect of the TRAP laws - no fewer abortions, but many more deaths of women.

Thank you for reconsidering your position on this important matter.
