The previously existing regulations, under which health clinics have been providing all manner of services to Virginia's citizens, have been sufficient for many years. These new ones do nothing to protect the health and safety of the populations they serve; rather, they create obstacles to further increase the number of people who cannot afford or do not have access to, critically necessary health care. Without access to regular, basic, health screenings at the Free Clinic here in Richmond, my sister's ovarian cancer would have gone undetected. Please don't force others like her to suffer when medical attention could mean the difference between health, and death.
