These new regulations that target women's health centers with unnessary and expensive requirements will not protect women's health. These centers have been operating safely, providing women with safe legal care, for years. If they are forced to close, where will the women go who now rely on them for reproductive care? I am old enough to remember when abortion was not safe and legal. Women were still having abortions sometimes under terrible conditions. Forcing centers that provide safe, legal reproductive care and abortions to close may well decrease the quality of women's health care and even cause unnessary deaths. We should never go back to those old days. Stop interferring with the right of a woman to manage her own health care in consusltation with her doctor. The law now gives her this right.
