The proposed TRAP regulations, as currently written, are medically unnecessary, inappropriate, and, frankly, anti-woman. They further restrict healthcare options for low-income, minority, and/or uninsured women such as myself (and arguably, for no other reason than anti-choice politics).
I visit my local women's healthcare center for my yearly exams and breast cancer screenings. I am at greater risk of breast cancer due to genetics, and this health center is the only place that I can receive affordable screenings. The TRAP regulations may force my health center to close, leaving my fellow patients and I with no realistic options for healthcare.
I trust and depend on my healthcare center. As medical doctors and healthcare professionals, they are the most qualified to determine what medical precautions are necessary for the center - not politicians with anti-woman agendas.
