I have watched this progression across the county, almost entirely in states controlled by the TeaPublican/Evangelical Party, of myriad laws directed at limiting women's right to choose. These laws and regulations began almost immediatly after the 2010 elections and as soon as even the people of Mississippi voted down a personhood amendment. I believe that the moment the anti-choice proponents saw that ultra-conservative Mississippi rejected their heavy-handed attempt to outlaw a woman's right to choose a new tactic was arrived at. That tactic is to totally eschew open public voting on any amendment that would make it, if not impossible then make it as demeaning and onerous as possible for a woman to opt in consultation with her doctor for an abortion. I would dare you to put any of these TRAP laws to the public vote...

These laws are totally based on your RELIGIOUS beliefs. It's time you realize that your beliefs and mythologies have no right being forced on others. The TeaPublican/Evangelical Party could not even carry the election of 2012. Your anti-choice presidential candidate lost  and your anti-choice senatorial candidate lost.

I submit that if you don't believe in abortion, then don't have one...but to deny women the right to choose, to limit a woman's access to contraception, to continue to dictate your religious beliefs on others is wrong. And if you are going to do it, just have the courage to really say WHY you are doiing it and please dont' insult women's intelligence saying it's for our own good. We know what is for our own good and that will be to make sure that our rights are not dictated to by your mythological beliefs.
