I support the proposed changes in state regulations for Clinical Nurse Specialists. These changes are consistent with the Consensus Model for APRN Regulation. This regulation change will allow the Virginia Board of Nursing to ensure consistency in education,certification, licensure, and accreditation and facilitate regulation of safe and competent advanced practice nurses, including Clinical Nurse Specialists.
