Children don't care what their parents' sexual orientation is. They just want a loving home. For too long, the Commonwealth has discriminated against homosexual couples based on blantant lies and hate. Why deny children the opportunity to grow up in a loving home when there are hundreds, if not thousands, of happy couples who are willing to open their hearts and their homes to these children? I know a gay couple who have adopted two wonderful young boys. They are wonderful parents. And isn't that what we are trying to find chidren? Letting them drift through foster homes does more harm than placing them with a loving family.
