I am writing to support measures to ensure adoption equality for families seeking to provide loving homes for Virginia's children.   I believe it is in the best interest to for a child to be raised by loving parents.  I also believe that loving families come in all kinds of configurations and feel strongly that prospective parents should not be discriminated against on the basis of race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, political beliefs, sexual orientation, disability or family status.

Please restore to the final rules the protections against discrimination in the proposed rules.
