Children should be placed with loving parents

Dear State Regulatory Board,

I urge you to PREVENT regulations that make adoption difficult for GLBT parents. There is so much hate, divorce, neglect, and even abuse of children by their parents (their heterosexual parents) in our state right now, and it breaks my heart. Being straight clearly does not guarantee that someone will be a good (or even a marginally acceptable) parent.  When one or two loving people have the heart to take a child into there home, how can the state have the right or the desire to deny them? Passing a regulation discriminating against GLBT parents absolutely does not have the good of the child in mind. Please don't do this to the abandoned children of Virginia.
