I am wholeheartedly for gay adoption! The application and process is rigorous enough to weed out those people inappropriate for adoption - both straight AND gay. There are so many children in need of a loving home and the gay community is able and willing to provide that. To deny them that opportunity is just another example of how our society is still discriminating against our citizens. They deserve the same rights and opportunities as the rest of us. We have already abolished slavery and discrimination on the basis of color, religion, and nationality and it is time for personal sexual preference to go the same way.
