I support equal adoption rights for LGBT citizens in Virginia. There is no reputable, peer-reviewd reseaerch indicating any difference in healthy life possibilities for children raised by lesbian or gay couples. Disriminational legislation is based in cultural prejudice and is denial of equal rights for American citizens. The State of Virginia should make every effort to match children in their system with responsible, committed LGBT couples, who can provide a secure and loving home for them.
