Discriminating against prospective adoptive parents due to race, gender, nationality, religious belief, or sexual orinentation makes no sense and is simply wrong. Loving parents come in all colors and from all walks of life. The state of Virginia needs to stay in step with the need for acceptance in our ever diversifying world. Our children - adoptive or biological - can only benefit from this. Adoptive parents are a true example of unconditional love and acceptance. It seems a bit odd that individuals who want to adopt and have the means to provide a loving home could be denied this because they are not accepted.
