I support the original regulations and I oppose the proposed amendment which will violate the religious freedom of faith-based adoption agencies and not allow them to operate according to their religious convictions. Faith-based adoption agencies provide their communities with morally upright service that is loving, compassionate and worthy of community support. Birth mothers trust these faith-based adoption agencies to help them make the best choice of adoptive parents for their unborn babies or for their children that they cannot take care of themselves. Please preserve the religious freedom of these adoption agencies that perform this very important service for our communities in the state of Virginia. NK
