Please stop using the "gay" excuse to not let kids in VA be adopted into loving homes with parents who are gay, straight, black, white, yellow, purple, Jewish, Catholic, Buddhist.....etc. What really matters is LOVE! I work for county government mental health and I see the sad abuse cases of certain straight couples who adopt or foster kids - terrible! The kids deserve better and opening adoption to gay/lesbian parents increases the opportunity to find more good parents. Open up adoption to ALL parents who are qualified to be GOOD parents in everyway.
