The single determining factor in the placement of children in adoptive families and foster care should be whether those families have the capacity to provide a loving, supportive environment for the child.

Discrimination should not blind us to what we know to be true: that not a single study has yielded a shred of data that would suggest that gay and lesbian parents don't provide warm, loving, wonderful families for their children. What possible reason, then, to deny children in need the chance to find homes of their own?
