There is no need to change the April 20 regulation. Faith based agencies have a right under federal and state law to make decisions consistant with their religious beliefs, including those of marriage and family life. Birth parents and prospective adoptive parents that hold these same values have every right to work with agencies that share the same values. If faith based adoptive agencies are closed, I believe the care of children will be adversely effected and perspective parents will have less freedom of choice.
