It is harmful to purposely deny children the benefit of having both gender role models in their life.  As a single mother I know this from first hand experience and try to find good male role models for my boys.  Private agencies should be allowed to continue their established practices.  To raise children in an atmosphere that is contradictory to the very laws of nature only creates psychological confusion. This issue should not revolve around a very small minority's political aspirations but should be about what is in the best interest of the children. The welfare of the children should outweigh any other motivation.
