Religious Freedom and Non-Discrimination

This forum is full of comments on both sides, those that support non-discrimination and those that are for "preserving religious freedom", yet it seems as if the only "religious freedom" that is being preserved is that of Christianity. As a Christian woman, I fully disagree with this. If you say that you want to preserve religious freedom, it should be for all faiths, yet a large amount of these posts are filled with quotes from the Bible.

While I do believe that any placement should be in the best interest of the child, I believe that people from all faiths, sexual orientations, races origins, you name it be evaluated and from there the child is placed in the best home. Unfortunately, many of my "Christian" brothers and sisters do not feel the same way. So I will use my own Biblical quote:

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28

or how about this one

"Therefore you have no excuse, whoever you are, when you judge others; for in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, are doing the very same things."Romans 2:1
