Ironic how this country was founded by people who were fleeing religious persecution and centuries later religious organizations are doing just that, persecuting anyone who does not follow thier faith or values.  Yes, this country was founded on religious freedoms...the freedom not to be persecuted by religions that do not carry your own beliefs or values.   Sadly it has been twisted around to make them appear to be the ones being persecuted, that is not the case.   The big argument here appears to be about gay men and women, about ten percent of the population being held back by a much larger, more powerful group of people...I think that is the defined as racism.  This country has no place for this. 

I support adoption/foster care regulations protecting potential parents from discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender, age, disability, religious or political affiliation, race, color or national origin.
