Gay marriage and adoption

There is no reason in the world that a gay person wouldn't make an excellent parent to a child and they should be able to marry anyone they choose to--gender doesn't matter when you truly love someone.

To those that think it somehow takes away from their own marriage, the truth is that the only thing that can affect your marriage is you and your partner.  Just because someone else chooses to marry a person of the same gender, it has NO affect on you whatsoever.

I am embarrassed to admit that I live in Virginia at times--I don't want to be thought of as one of those closed-minded, prejudiced people that DO live here.

By the way, I am NOT gay and I am married.  How others choose to live their lives is none of my business.
