I support the board vote back in April on the adoption of regulations for Virginia private adoption services.  Faith based placement services must be allowed to continue providing services without intrusion by government regulation on their practices governed by faith principles.

The right of agencies to place children in homes consistent with thier religionus beliefs including beliefs on life and family must not be infringed.  Birthparents wishes must also be respected as it pertains to the values held home for adoption.

Faith based agencies provide a useful service and promote family values necessary for a healthy society.

Do not interfer with faith based groups exercising religious principles or the expression and application of Christian family values.
