Changing the rules to preclude religious organizations from providing adoptions is a blow against the best interests of children.  No one will benefit, and hundreds of Virginia children will suffer.  The pool of parents (and agencies) available to help the children will shrink, many adoptions won't occur, and others will happen with sub-optimum placement. 

It is unbelievable that something like this could even be under consideration.  What have we come to as a society?
