Preserve Religious Freedom

I second these comments:

"I support the exisiting Virginia regulations for adoption agencies which allow faith based agencies to promote adoptions according to their beliefs. Since there are already agencies that cater to homosexuals seeking to adopt, I do not believe that the existing regulations discriminate against homosexual couples. On the other hand, government interference in PRIVATE faith based organizations certainly does discriminate , not only against the agency but against the mothers seeking to place a child with a family that shares some or all of her religious beliefs."

Further, government should be much less involved in the whole adoption process, only setting down some very basic laws and regulations and letting adoption agencies, faith-based or non, compete amongst themselves in quality and efficiency.
