Discrimination against someone based on sexual orientation and gender identity is anti-American and to allow adopting agencies to discriminate based on these factors puts the political agenda of a minority of outspoken people ahead of the child's welfare. The Virginia Board of Social Services needs to restore ALL of the original protections to allow our overtaxed foster care system to find loving and stable homes for children who need them.
