Re: 8 VAC 20-81-50 / Child Study Committees – I OPPOSE THE ELIMINATION OF CHILD STUDY COMMITTEESor changing the requirements from what is currently required in the existing regs. VDOE must not leave referral procedures to the LEAs – parents must be active participants in the referral process and for protection of timelines. Also, classroom interventions must not delay the evaluation.
