Opposing the changes

My son, is DD changed to OHI. We were in one county that worked for the child to learn and would call you or plan meetings to change the IEP when needed. We moved to the next county and for two years he had the same IEP. After much home work, attending seminars and meeting an attorney, I finally was successful in getting a new IEP to fit my son's needs. This year with going to Middle school, the objective is: ATTENTION with 4 different goals only. Since he is OHI that is what the Special Education director states he needs. So once again I will go to bat for my son to ensure that he gets the education he deserves. When a child brings homes nothing but F's on his paperwork and the teacher gives him a C or D. What does that do? What is he gaining? So if you take my rights away to help him receive the education he deserves, who will make sure he gets the needed foundation of education. Surely not You, the teachers, assistant principal or principal! Their job is to make sure the child receives the set program they are provided to teach, even if the student does not understand, or comprehend. No Child Left Behind! So he is passed on to set him up for further failure.

DO NOT TAKE THE PARENTAL RIGHTS AWAY!
