Reconsider this horrible decision

I"ve been an LPN for over nine years. I am from NYC but moved to Virginia in 2004. I was enrolled in excellsior college at the time of my move. The program worked for me because I could complete my RN degree at my own pace. I'd already taken and passed sociology, when Virginia changed regulations and decided not to accept excellsior online gradutes. This was a horrible blow. I own a home in virginia and cannot afford to move back to NYC to practice nursing. My courses have already been paid for. I've basically lost money. I've been forced to find another school to complete my studies. It is an expensive accelerated RN course, but my options are now limited. Excellsior college is nationaly accredited. Virginia would benifit from there graduates, and there is still a nursing shortage. Please overturn this decesion and allow adult students to complete their education and practice in the state of Virginia.

Thank You,

Rosemary Lewis-Joseph LPN
