Reconsider the future "income" of VA

There are many things to consider when allowing such programs to be available for VA residents i do understand. The biggest reason for THE ONLINE LPN-RN PROGRAM  TO BE RECONSIDERED is for the INCREASED REVENUE it would bring for VA. Especially with the current economic situations that this country and  this state face, having more QUALIFIED, and more educated VA residents would be A BIG WAY TO INCREASE not only revenue but the jobless in VA which would mean less unemployment benefits paid and less on government programs, and more spent buying, and selling in VA, as well as keeping jobs in VA instead of out sourcing to 'temp agencies" which pay RN's from other states a lot more than what an RN that lives near the hospital or facility would make. Also It would fill the Vacancies that hospitals have much quicker to provide "QUALITY" health care to everyone, because it would decrease the shortage of nursing staff. Also another 'consideration would be those like myself, who are single mother's, who work full time, and want to continue education but do not have the time or money to give up their children, and living expenses to go back to school. For me It means, that evenings would be taken for school and a baby sitter would have to be hired, as well as gas to travel the extra miles to and from school as well as wear and tear on a vehicle and the biggest expense "being away from family" more than being with them. Also a single parent has limited time to study when they do arrive home from classes, before getting the children ready for the next day, and getting themselves in bed, taking care of house hold chores and getting up the next day for another full days work. Please reconsider all of the factors involved in preventing those who really would love the opportunity to further their education but do not have the ability to do so in VA because this opportunity was taken away!

Thank you for your time, and consideration in this matter! *for the future of VA*
