The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Board of Directors regulates the possession, sale, transportation, and delivery of alcoholic beverages in the Commonwealth; operates government stores for the sale of distilled spirits, mixers, and wine produced by Virginia farm wineries; collects taxes on beer, wine, and spirits; and enforces the provisions of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act and the criminal laws of the Commonwealth.
