Notice of Public Comment Period

Pursuant to Governor McDonnell’s regulatory reform initiative, the Department is conducting a review of the Auctioneers Board regulations currently in place to:

1. repeal regulations that are unnecessary or no longer in use; and
2. reduce unnecessary regulatory burdens on individuals, businesses, and other regulated groups.

 The Department invites public comment on these issues specific to the following regulation(s):

 The regulation(s) may be found on our website at www.dpor.virginia.gov.

 Written comments will be received until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, and may be sent to the address below or Auctioneers@dpor.virginia.gov.  Comments must include the commenter’s name and address (physical or email).  Comments or questions should be sent to:
