| Purpose of the meeting This workgroup meeting is comprised of members of the Newborn Screening Advisory Committee, parent advocates, and subject matter experts. The purpose is to conduct a comprehensive review of MPS-II and GAMT as potential additions to Virginia's newborn screening panel. Based on this review, a recommendation will be made to the Advisory Committee for a formal vote at its May 2025 bi-annual meeting. | |
