Purpose of the meeting
A meeting of the stakeholder work group established, in accordance with the 2020 Acts of Assembly, Special Session I, Chapter 1289, Item 378, paragraph B 2, to advise the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) concerning determining a feasible compliance date by which extruded polystyrene (XPS) boardstock and billet manufacturers will be required to comply with prohibitions on the use of hydrofluorocarbons in specific end-uses and development of the hydrofluorocarbon regulations in general. The primary purpose of the work group is to present the DEQ with information affecting the development of a feasible regulatory compliance date for XPS boardstock and billet manufacturers located in Virginia.
