| Purpose of the meeting The Virginia Division of Mineral Mining (DMM) will hold this informal public hearing as an information gathering forum for a proposed mining operation in Charles City County. Persons attending the hearing may present written and/or oral comments, and photographs or other evidence. The hearing will be recorded.The permit applicant, West Sand and Gravel, Inc., has submitted a complete application package, which is available for review in the DMM office located at 900 Natural Resources Drive, Charlottesville, VA. An interpreter for the hearing impaired is available upon request. | |||
