Summary |
This guidance provides revised procedures to notify local governments and adjacent and/or riparian property owners of VPDES, VPA, and VWP permit applications and draft permits. This is in response to amendments to State Water Control Law and regulation, the adoption of new regulations, and the development of agency policies affecting notifications required for water permits that have occurred since 1996. Due to pending amendments to the VPDES and VPA Permit Regulations affecting notification requirements for permit applications, this is interim guidance that will be finalized upon adoption of the amended regulations. This guidance memo supersedes GM 96-008 and 97-2001 pertaining to VPDES, VPA and VWP permits, including VWP permits for surface water withdrawals. NOTE: this guidance no longer applies to VWP Permits except surface water withdrawals. |
