This measure is catering to a very small group of students whose concerns can be addressed in other ways. It forgoes the good of the rest of the student body by putting ridiculous requirements on them to pretend along with the transgender student that a boy who feels like a girl is a girl and vice versa. I do not send my children to school to play pretend...I send them to get an education based in science. Why doesn't anyone care about the 99 percent of children who do not want to shower or use the bathroom with the opposite sex? What about their right not to feel ill-at-ease in the bathroom? What about the vast majority of children who correctly believe there are only two sexes...why must a lie be foisted upon them? Why not stick to reading, writing and arithmetic in school and leave matters of sexuality to parents to navigate in their own child's best interest. Finally, I resent the role of the parent being dismissed in the education of their own child. Enough of this pandering nonsense.
