Schools already have bullying & harassment policies in place. This is pushing a much more personal issue and agenda. If this passes, I know many public school teachers will leave to teach in the private schools and many parents will pull their kids out to home school. Good for them, but what about the lower income families who have no choice but to send their child to public schools? Don't they have rights? They shouldn't have to worry about their child's safety in locker rooms and bathrooms.
Let students dress as the gender they "choose" and give them a bathroom and locker room to use. DO NOT allow the majority of students who would feel VERY UNCOMFORTABLE with having THEIR rights being infringed upon. What about the kids who want to feel safe and secure with the gender GOD gave them? What about their rights?
Focus on reading, writing, history, science and math instead of pushing sex and sexual confusion onto little, impressionable minds and lives.
This kind of education is not for public schools, it is for the home and parents to discuss in their families. NOT in the school system.
