I believe we should support transgender kids and/or questioning kids. Transgender students should be able to feel comfortable in school because it is the place they go to almost every day. We shouldn't exclude them. They just want to be normal kids. To avoid the religion problem and pronouns, maybe instead of addressing students by their preferred pronouns, you can just address them by their preferred name. Anyone, no matter transgender or cisgender could change their name. To avoid the problem of other people being uncomfortable in locker rooms, you could let the transgender student use a private changing room. This would seem like a fair compromise. The science argument also isn't the best argument because there is a science to back up why transgender kids are the way they are. With a couple of compromises, I think this would be a great idea.
