The Virginia Health Care Association-Virginia Center for Assisted Living (VHCA-VCAL) has reviewed proposed regulations to amend the Virginia Administrative Code to conform to Chapters 136 and 343 of the 2019 Acts of Assembly. VHCA-VCAL has concluded that the regulations are consistent with the Acts of Assembly, which will help nursing facilities comply with federal emergency preparedness regulations.  The association supports the regulations and has no modifications to offer at this time.
