The Bill of Rights and our Democracy

I am very concerned with what seems to be an effort to consider the Bill of Rights simply a list of suggestions.  Our Founders realized that enumerating these natural, inherent rights of all humans ws the only way to protect these rights in case of any encroachments in the distant future. The proponents of the Bill of Rights were correct, as we can see today.  There are encroachments, the latest of which is the executive overreach of our Governor and Attorney General.  It is the job of the Legislature to make laws, and then only when it is the Will of the People.  The Executive Branch should not and cannot legally do this.  You are only inviting litigation, which will draw undue attention to the Commonwealth and cost our citizens unnecessary tax dollars.  Please desist now, and prevent this situation from deteriorating.
