Gun-Free Zones/Buildings Fail

This is a solution looking for a non-existent problem. Virginia citizens have concealed and open carried guns in state offices without any issues. Virtually every mass shooting in America has been in gun-free zones, so why would the Governor want to ensure that state employees could easily become victims because of the his gun-control agenda? Virginia has actually become safer since gun control has been reduced in the state. State crime statistics have shown this. Of course, gun-control groups claimed it would become the Wild, Wild West. Nothing of the sort happened. Yet the Governor chooses not to learn anything from the past. Naturally, the Governor will never submit this agenda of creating gun-free zones of state offices to the elected representatives of the people because he well knows that it would be soundly defeated.
