I never thought (even with a liberal Governer) that we would see such an end run on our rights here in VA! What in the world possessed you to think that you would pass such a regulation and have no backlash? Are Barack Obama now that you would circumvent our Constitution (federal and state) and enact your personal policies essentially by executive order? NO PUBLIC HEARING NEEDED? That's what you said? Well, the bylaws say that you must have a public hearing if you recieve 25 requests. Consider this a formal request for a public hearing. I look forward to seeing you AND your ARMED security detail at the "gun free location" of your choice. You have my E-mail so there is no excuse not to inform me of the time and place (in a timely fashion) where we citizens can remind you that you are the elected Governer of VA, not the Emperor of Japan. You do not have ANY power that is not GIVEN to you by "we the people". The fact that you would enact this farcicle policy in the wake of the San Bernidino shootings-in a " gun free " governmental building like you are creating here and now begs the question-Are you TRYING to invite such needless terror HERE in order to create some "self fulfilling prophecy"? To SHOW the world that you were right about the need for more gun control? I say-Shame on you!
