Disarming the good leaves only the bad

These types of bans serve absolutely no purpose except to make it possible to greatly inconvenience, harrass, and endanger good, law-abiding citizens.  Criminals will continue to obtain and carry guns anywhere they like.  This type of ban not only denies citizens of their rights, it also does not improve safety.  In a world where the good are disarmed, only the bad people remain armed and that is not good for society.  So-called "gun-free" zones are likely to be the best targets for terrorists and bad people who know they will encounter less resistance there than anywhere else.

Before even considering making this illegal gun ban permanent, please ask yourselves this question- exactly how many innocent people have been shot by persons with legal, concealed carry permits in Virginia state agencies?
