This emergency gun ban regulation is a travesty and a certain violation of the Bill of Rights.  Not only will it not stop criminal activity from taking place but it turns any citizen who owns or intends to buy a self-defense weapon into a criminal.  As a citizen of the United States of American in this time of growing war, it is essential that I and every citizen take appropriate action to defend themselves.  Police authorities around the country are already advising their citizenry to arm themselves because they cannot insure protection - essentially, when seconds count the police are minutes away.  These subterfuges based on the exercise of arrogant political power do one other thing, they pit We the People against Them the Government - it is about time that the Government stop attacking their citizenry based on politically correct silliness.
