A purely political ploy that makes possible criminals out of average citizens for no reason

If we have a carry permit, we've been vetted by the authorities as law abiding. This unwarranted EO can't possibly improve safety, as anyone willing to cause violence would be more than willing to disobey it.  What it will hurt is your average self-defense concerned citizen who finds himself in a place he wasn't aware that guns were banned. Even worse, it removes the ability of people to defend themselves - all for a purely political ploy by the governor to personally pander to his party and benefactors.  Put this up for a vote if you want it, let the people decide. Not one politician with an agenda.
