I should have the right to be able to protect myself.

First off:  These actions have worked so well for places like Chicago. (NOT) I live in a very rural area....it would take a long time for 911 help to arrive. I also work for a equipment rental company....I could be anywhere on any giving day. Whether it is a good neighborhood or bad...I want my right to be able to protect myself. I am almost 60 years of age....you "DO NOT" have the right to tell me that I can not carry my weapon for self defense reasons. You work for the citizens of this state. That does not give you the right to do things for your own agenda or your parties agenda. I think the people are getting tired of hearing this and battling against this. That's why Donald Trump is looking good as President! Take away the guns from the criminals first....then you can "talk" about taking mine away.

Secondly:   As the times are now with terror attacks happening in our own country, why are you so willing to take away the right of people to be able to stop something if it were to accure here? Who's side are you on? It has been proven that more mass shootings happen in gun free zones! What is wrong with you people? The second amendment is part of our Constitution. Leave it alone! You will be voted out of office with a swiftness! You work for me...not the other way around.

I think there needs to be more time added to this discusion for more people to have a chance to be made aware of this issue. Please add more time!
